Body

What does that mean, when they say medium to full body? I think I remember reading somewhere that it's how heavy the smoke is on your pallet, and has nothing to do with taste. is this true?

There really isn't a wrong answer here, body is very subjective.. but most people describe body as the amount of strength in the cigar and what the strength of the flavors are. I'm sure a lot of people on the forum will put in their 2 cents as well.. hope I helped!
taste is what you actually taste. body is what you feel.
it is very hard to describe what "body" is in a cigar.
the best way i can describe it is to do a comparison.
smoke an ashton classic double magnum (6x 50) after a light lunch. the next day after a light lunch smoke a La Flor Dominicana Double ligero Maduro 6 x 60
now how you feel after each one?
THAT is the difference between body and flavor. (both are full flavored but the LFD is full bodied)
On a serious note, Kuzi summed it up. In my experience, body is the effect of the nicotine in your system - a full-bodied stick will give you a solid head-spin if you're not used to it, and could make you sick if you smoke on said light lunch (not recommended, imo).
