I just got a Samsung Blu-Ray player. It is Netflix ready, BD Live, Pandora, YouTube, all the cool internet stuff. It came with a HDMI cable, so hook up was easy, but I have a question about the wireless hook-up on it.

I saw this by Samsung:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+LinkStick+Wireless+USB+2.0+Adapter/9291795.p?skuId=9291795&id=1218075420206

Will this one from Amazon do the same thing?
http://www.amazon.com/MSI-Wireless-LAN-USB-2-0-Adapter/dp/B001W9UC8S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266855995&sr=1-3

It doesn't say BD Live services on the description, but everything else looks the same. Will it work or do I need to get the Samsung one? I don't know if it matters, but my television is a Samsung also.

Help?

Usually the proprietary adapters have embedded drivers in them... So in essence the Samsung one is the only one that works, but to save the extra bucks and waste some time you could probably buy the MSI one and either "Flash" or "Install" the drivers on it... I have no idea how to do this, but anything's possible...

Oh, nah man, I'd just get the Samsung one, that's why I was asking if the other one would work as-is or not. Thanks for the info man, I appreciate it.

A wireless adapter is a wireless adapter (specs pending.) However, if you get a wireless adapter for something that a company makes, and they are specifically designed to be compatible, I would always go with that one if you aren't sure. It usually saves a butt-load of work.
