Decided to give the Xikar HC Series Connecticut a whirl. First mild-bodied cigar in awhile...boy I need to buy some lighter sticks. Nice change of pace, and despite the fact that the wrapper was cracking, it actually smoked well and tasted delicious. Only spent about $2.50 on it too, so that's a win in my book!
The fireman in me should have known I'd like this one. I am digging the flavors on the Inferno by Oliva. Picked up a 5ver of these from Andy several months ago
"I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke ever last one of 'em." - Ron White

Last Night Started out with a Royal Jamaica Oro Rojo from June of 2007. I feel like it wasted space in my humi all those years. The stick smoked ok but it was very 2 dimensional, woody and creamy. This was from an era when those would have satisfied, now I need more depth of flavor. I followed up with a Cuesta-Rey Sungrown from Sept 2008, great cigar and it smoked great and aged great. I finished with a MOW Ruination from Sept 2010. Good night for cigars overall.
