Ok. Here we go the first smoke post with a serious question: I'm smoking a "Private Label" natural maduro. I was told it was a Davidoff 2nd. It said it right on the bag I pulled them from (photo attached). My query is does Davidoff sell 2nds of did I just get in line to buy a bridge in Brooklyn from a Nigerian prince? I may do a review on it later (I do that from time to time).

Don't know about those.
Davidoff are a bit mild for me. I like stogies that give me a punch. Thus my love for the MOW and Tatuaje. I am finding other spicey blends but it is costing me for my journey into the abyss of cigar aquisitions. I have lots to learn and rely heavily on what these guys tell me or bomb me. However what they teach me I like. I can not always afford. That's where shopping for aquisitions comes in. Good luck.
"Come party with me in Tennessee for my birthday July we can smoke in the Smokey's."
Same here, but wanted to smoke today and went back to old B&M I swore off because of the crappy sticks, but had to do that walk of shame...more of a shimmy. Picked up two sticks and was told this had best tobacco filler of all of the bargain brands. So, I splurged and decided to try them out. Went to my regular B&M to smoke but closed before I could finish...taking care of that now.
I wouldn't look at it as walk of shame. Although I enjoy some of the higher endish variety I still enjoy under 5 buck sticks (5 bucks or more purchasing regularly but I search out deals to get them for sometimes as low as buck 50).
Tonight it was a Gurkha double maduro which I picked up a while ago and wasn't really feeling tonight followed by a Rocky Patel The Edge Double Maduro which I bought based on Cigar Aficionado's 2015 list that burned and tasted better but still didn't blow my socks off with some Mt Gay Rum and an Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose on the back patio in the wind and listening to the rain while on the VHerf. Still, it helped to get me in a better mood from having to work most of the day. I had to jump off the herh half way through to call my sister to find out how my dad is doing, he broke his wrist (again) but is otherwise doing okay. I'll have to work again tomorrow, but hopefully not as long, we resolved our part of the problem today, I hope. Here's to a better tomorrow.

Sounds like a pretty decent budget smoke. I've never run into them around here, but if I do I may pick up a few to try.

Over the weekend. After a rough day of mountain climbing I'm enjoying a RyJ Media Noche while waiting for the grill to warm up. The whiskey was Talisker Storm.
Very nice dude. If you like you can keep an eye on the devil site and get them on the cheap.
Team O'Donnell FTW!

Fired up a Damaso last night. It wasn't bad, but being a Padron I expected more. Real dry smoke, mainly picked up woody-ness and pepper spice...not much else happening.
I'll finish the rest of my 5-er but wouldn't buy any more.
If you want a high end connie, better off sticking with Davidoff IMO.

This was a harsh and bitter tasting smoke from start to finish and I put down the but eventually and didn't finish.
