AJ Fernandez Dirty Dozen?

ZAPZAP Posts: 186 ✭✭
I just got the new mag today and didn't realize AJ had a hand in all these brands listed in his Dirty Dozen sampler:

Padilla
Gurkha
Graycliff
Nica Libre

to name a few.   I thought those were all separate entitities.  Can anyone shed some light on this.

They are separate companies, but they will pay other factories to produce their cigars.

My Dirty Dozen sampler is on the way and includes the new MOW Virtue. Just in time for vacation on 4/5/10. Good timing. As a matter of fact I have 52 sticks coming next week just to be sure I have the required variety. LOL!

yes, one stick for every week of the year gypsy........
manufacturers will buy their tobacco from different farms and have different blenders make different sticks. I am very excited to try my Virtue as the Park Ave is a hella tasty mild stick. if AJ makes it, I like it.

So true. I haven't had an AJ blend that I didn't absolutely love. About half the boxes I have right now are AJ blends actualy...

  • I've never had anything by AJ. But luckily that Dirty Dozen sampler will be waiting for me in the mailbox when I get off of work today.

You won't be disappointed. I'm almost to the point to where that is all I'm buying. If you read the "AJ Fernandez" thread, you will see where Alex explains that his cigars actually cost quite a bit wholesale but because they go straight from the factory to ccom, the middle man is cut out and the prices stay low.

Gonna be picking up the sampler as part of a big order I'm placing in a few days. Excited to try pretty much everything in it.
