New humi

alienmisprintalienmisprint Posts: 3,964 ✭✭✭
The guy that did this has never built a humidor before. I believe he did a bang-up job. I'll get better pics (this one was from my cell phone) and more pics once its seasoned and loaded.

That looks great some close-ups would be nice, as well as the price?

I'm actually tattooing the guy for it. I did pay him a little over $500 for materials, but the labor was all trade for the tattoo.

I'm actually just now ordering the humidifier for it, it looks like I'm gonna go with one of those moist-n-air humidifiers, supposed to handle up to 48 cubic feet.

And yeah, I'll break the Nikon out once I get it all seasoned and loaded, count on that.

That's a nice looking cabinet. I'd give it at least a week to season.

Oh, definately. I plan on at least a week of seasoning once I have my humidifier and beads and all, I haven't got any of that yet. I probably won't be actually moving most of cigars into it for another three weeks or so. Maybe two if I get on the ball with everything, lol.

I ended up going with the moist-n-air, should be here in a couple of days. I still need to order some beads though.

And before anyone says anything, yeah, I know it leans to the left a little. The carpet in the whole place is like that, it won't sit level on any of it.

I cant wait to get enough cigars to justify something like that. Thats a cool setup. Probably a good conversation piece as well. Make sure you keep plently of windex around to clean off the drool and nose prints!
