Can you handle a "Robusto?"

I was a bit shocked yesterday at work. There is a fellow there who I often speak about cigars with and he constantly boasts about what cigars he has and what cigars he's smoked and where he's smoked them and I finally realized yesterday that this guy is completely full of ****.

I was telling him about a deal I purchased on ccom when another person jumped in the conversation to inquire about the strength of cigars, the body, the nicotine levels and how it affects you. At this point I was getting up to walk away when I hear this guy say this, "If you try any cigar in Robusto, then watch out. You're in for a ride. Those Robustos are pretty strong!"

Sadly shook head, didn't say anything, and walked away.

Nice.... you should "gift" him an LFD while at work and watch him smoke it.

You should give him an Opus X power ranger, the price would be worth seeing him puke his guts out all over his desk at work.

give him an Oliva V robusto and tell him, "it's okay, this is the short one. Not strong at all" I also suggest he do it at the end of the day, ya know, when he's nice and hungry.

You must exploit his ignorance for your entertainment/benefit.

It could be a reality show produced by ccom called "The CCom Forum Life" and it would be all our interactions with the outside world. Or it could be game show where we have to see how many cigar myths and cliches we can collect from our friends families coworkers and acquantinces and not blow our tops.

I'd give him an Ashton VSG Illusione... Since it's not a robusto, he should not puke his guts up... *Evil Grin*

I have followed this with a chuckle. The uninformed can be quite humorous. Personally, I smoke Robustos for breakfast.

Once I thought I was man enough for a robusto....

    ...I was wrong ='(

On a serious note, robustos are my favorite size since I rarely have the time for larger sizes.

What happens if he has to fight Mini-Ditka, who has a beard, while smoking a robusto. I think we finally know how it's going to end in 2012. It's all coming together.

Whew those robustos at 5in long are deadly. Imagine if they made cigars 7in +. That might kill people lol.
  • Damn, I just ordered a box of Man 'O War Robustos. Wish I had found this thread earlier. I don't think I'll be able to handle them. Why, oh why didn't I get the Toro's instead?
