    That's crazy! Who the f*** would do such a stupid thing? It's history, for Christ's sake! I hope whoever did it "get's sacked", as you Brits would say!

    If you notice in the article it quotes someone as saying "So much for the notion that only communist tyrants airbrushed history."

    I'll venture that's it's not a notion , that it's completely true, and go further to state that communism is alive and well and masquerading as politically correct liberalism.

    Toying with history is foolish at best and opens the door to facism and political repression. It starts with airbrushing a cigar, but that sets the precedence.

    We need to preserve our history as a species to know where we've come from, what we've accomplished and where we've failed. We are not ostriches, to stick our heads in the sand and ignoring any part of our past gains us no benefit whatsoever.

    This makes me fear for the future of our kind as willful ignornace is one piss-poor way to go about ensuring a future.
