Memorable Introductions

Does anyone have any memorable cigars that were introduced to you? In terms of introduction, I'm talking about more like a friend or the owner of the B&M putting a cigar in your hand and saying, "Listen, you HAVE TO try this."

Of course, the term "memorable" can go both ways.

For me, I think the most memorable cigar that was introduced to me was the CAO La Traviata. Bit of a weird choice, but my guy at the B&M couldn't stop raving about how good it was. I tried it any found out it WAS pretty damn good.

A guy I had just met was hanging out at a party after the St. Louis Knifeshow and he gave me a Cohiba 35th! I was blown away.

La Aurora Preferido Emerald Tubo. A bit strong for a non-smoker but I was heading to a 4th of July BBQ with my ex and I decided to stop and get a real cigar to try (I had only tried flavored cigars previously).

This was a memorable one. I searched for one based on 2 words by Kuzi, "get one". It took a bit to find them but they are now a regular in my humidor.
