Burning eyes

My father and I have both experienced the terrible burn of getting cigar oil in our eyes by rubbing them while smoking a cigar. This is not a slight burn its like getting a chemical in your eye. Has any one else experienced this.

I've gotten dry eyes, but never burning. Could be allergies. I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure there aren't harmful chemicals used in cigar making. But I could be wrong.....

Only in the Acids :P Might just be the oils coming out of the tobacco. Are you slightly allergic, jship? I've never had this problem, but then again, I don't really rub my eyes when I'm handling a cigar.

I think both times it was a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper there very oily. You have to touch your eye with the oil on your fingers. Can you be allergic to cigars never heard of that?
