Home made Humidor

Hey guys so im thinking of taking an old small refrigerator and gutting it, lining it with spanish cedar and using it as a humidor for large storage. If anyone has any ideas of how to do this it would be great, and any suggestions on how to line it or what i should use as a humidification device.

Do a search for Vino-temp or Wine-ador (spelling?) - you'll come up with loads of options. Just make sure the fridge is thermoelectric, which is why vinotemps are used so often
  • Good luck; let us know how that goes!

As far as lining it, liquid nails and Spanish cedar sheets ought to do the trick. For humidification, beads should work fine and possibly a small fan or two to circulate the air. Just don't run the fridge, it will suck all the humidity out.
