If you can live with human errors nearly every order, Cigar.com is a good deal

If you don't mind all the errors this company makes in placing orders, this site does offer some good deals, but be sure you are ok with sometimes not getting your order in time as promised (ie: free 2 day shipping has turned into 7 days shipping only to be explained with 'I APOLOGIZE").
I should have known when my first shipment, a few years ago, was DOUBLED that their internal processes aren't what they should be. I thought there is no way they can keep making such errors over and over so it has to get better. But here I am, years later and once again frustrated the human on the other end can't seem to take a simple order. Maybe I'll just go back to ordering via the web and take my chances with the computer.
But again, good prices. Maybe they keep the prices down by mischarging and misreprensting what they are selling.
I will probably shop here again, and actually went about 9 months without because I couldn't take the headaches any more.
We'll see...
Cost vs Quality is what you may need to consider. And don't expect they will do anything other than 'apologize'. Those apologies help them keep their cost of resolving issues to a mininum, I suppose - which in turn allows them to keep offering those 'great deals'.

Shipping has never been an issue. I live in Washington state and my orders get to me within 2 business days. The most I've ever had to wait for a Ccom order was 5 business days and that was only once or twice.

been ordering here for years and i can only thing of 2 issues I have ever had... 1. I order a sampler that was supposed to include an Oliva MB 3 and it didn't, so The Beard overnighted 2 of the MB3's to me... and my first COTM order didn't include the 3 Armada's, but that was quickly rectified... can't say that I have any complaints...
The time when my COTMC arrived without the newsletter Tim made it right. I have placed many orders in the past 4 years and have never had problems.
CCOM is the best!!!!!!
careful around this group..we are very protective of CCOM b/c they take such good care of us!
I've had two orders screwed up by cigar.com. The first won was supposed to include a certain lighter (can't remember which one), but they got it wrong. So, they told me to keep it, and they'd send the right one, too.
Then, just yesterday I got my big Christmas order in. Most of it was correct, except that instead of getting the "experts christmas sampler" they sent me a five pack of Augusto Reyes Nativo. I left a message, was called back the next morning, told to keep the Nativos and that the Christmas sampler was on the way.
Somehow, I think I'll survive.
