Cigar Mold

Me and my gal went to a couple Antique Shops yesterday in Charleston.... I found this laying on a table in the back.... Of course, I had to get it... I think it's pretty cool... It has a number "48" stamped in the side.... so, I would imagine they are 48 RG - Perfecto!..... Add it to my collection of cool cigar stuff!

If anybody can tell me anything about it.... that would be great!

Bet ya thought this post was gonna be about the bad kind of cigar mold.....

Very cool did the shop even know what they were. I picked up a couple molds from CI to decorate my cave.

Get ahold of Tony Hyman at the National Cigar Museum (http://www.nationalcigarmuseum.com/Site/NCM_HOME.html) He should be able to shed some light on it for ya. He does a piece in Cigar Magazine called "Cigar-bage or Cigar-tifact" that's pretty neat. Although I hear that mag is done for. Nice find though!

That's pretty sweet! I've thought about ordering one but I wanna check around a few antique shops first.

There's an antique shop down the road from me that has one, smaller than this and not perfecto, but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on buying it because I just don't know enough to know if the price is right. Anyone know what something like this SHOULD go for?
