Burning leaves here. I unintentionally dry boxed this one, got it out last night but never got around to smoking it until after I rustled up some grub for the women folk. Bacon, eggs, coffee, grits, and hash browns.
The uneven burn line is user error, there was one spot on the head that I didn't toast enough and it's lagging behind the rest.

43° out there, Frank? That's 8° colder than inside my house this morning. Is that normal for Vegas this time of year?
Not abnormal, Edward. Tomorrow will be colder, I hear.

I smoked about a box and a half of these and I never noticed that it's a shaggy foot, so you get a little binder and filler only without the wrapper. It's not even a quarter of an inch of a shaggy foot. Sometimes that's good for a cigar, sort of like a built-in transition. Not in this case. I was wondering why this thing started off so bland. Now I realize. I'm into the wrapper now though, so now it has transitioned into being a really good cigar.
Smoking from my rarely used third balcony. Of course the second I light up, it starts raining. Sheesh.

Earlier a Frank-method La Flor Dominicana 2000 No. 3 from @Stubble . Great smoke that lasts longer than it looks like it should.
Now firing up a Hoyo Epicure no. 1 from @ShawnOL
Thanks guys.

A decade of aging on these and the retrohale is still fantastic. The straight draw flavor is mostly rich smooth tobacco with dark sweet maduro notes, nutty flavor, touch of soil, and wood on the finish. Retrohale reveals spice, leather, and pepper to the mix. These have aged wonderfully and held up well. Still plenty of nicotine as well. Need to start smoking these more often.
Morning all. You are up early Chris.
Aladino corona leftover from last night. Moving on to a CAO Black Bengal toro. Homeroast Rwanda in the 3 blind mice mug.

You need to have something done about your heat.

^^^ I don't suppose it rains often enough to warrant any prophylactic intervention, but... Would help with providing shelter from the sun too.
