need some help guys

so last thursday night at about 10pm my wife gets a call and we find out that her step dad had a stroke... it turns out is wasn't a stroke... he has a large brain tumor and 2 golf ball sized cysts right near it... we were in the hospital all weekend and had him transferred up to UCSF this morning... and now they are preping him for surgery... it's been the longest 90 hours of my life...

I think he is gonna need all the help he can get, so if you can find it in your heart to just send a positive thought his way, i'd be grateful... he's a really good man...

    Very sorry to hear this. I had two patients over the weekend with newly diagnosed brain tumors, one had 20 tumors! I will be thinking of you, prayers for your family, hang in there.

    so the surgery has been moved back to Wednesday morning... they wanted to do some speech mapping and other tests... feels like he is getting great treatment... honestly it feels like an empisod of Grey's anatomy or something...

    it's stressful but we're hanging in...

    thanks for the support guys... it's keeping me going so I can be strong for everyone else... that's all I can really do at this point... I'll post an update sometime tomorrow...

    So we're at the hospital right now... They are keeping him awake and doing speech mapping during the surgery... Things seem to be goinwell... I can't say enough aboutbthe care and communication here! They have a nurse call us every hour or so with updates... They should be done in the next 3 hours or so
