Humi Question

Hey

I have a question about my humidor and was hoping someone could help me out.

Its a 50 ct glass top and its about a year old now. Recently the RH has been dopping and I have had a hard time keeping it above 65. I have 70% beads inside of it and a digital hygrometer. I am currently reseasinng it, but after 24hrs, the RH drops again to 60%.

I am about to recalibrate the hygrometer. Is this something that needs to be done that often?

Any other suggestions guys?

Thanks in advance.

Your beads are all charged up? Do you have an analog hygro. on the front of the humi.? Sometimes those have a horrible seal and can leak a lot of air. Did you just put in a lot of newly purchased cigars? Those can have a higher or lower RH than your humi. Sometimes hygros do need to be re-calibrated, especially if all of a sudden things get screwy.

No, Ive pulled all the cigars out and put them in the cooler. There is a digital one on the front. Beads are all charged.

How do you go about sealing the leaks if they are present?
