Oh No......

I have a few orders enroute and Canada Post is set to go on strike On May 25....ohhhhhhhh noooooo....I should have 1 pkg tomorrow definately and I am hoping a 2nd that I know is now in Canada but the 3rd I don't know where it is......lol fu*k..

    There are news reports from yesterday that the strike has been averted for now. Just hope the damn post office doesn't screw the mail up.

    Like Wayne said, hopefully they do avert the strike. I have a couple out there as well. First the shipping thing from C.Com and now this ! This could get UGLY if the strike does go down and lasts for a while. Have to pony up the $35 that FedEx charges for brokerage fees when sending things across the border, but then I guess you could make up for it with a larger order...

    One of the reasons Federal gov't workers aren't allowed to unionize is to prevent strikes. Guess even the Dems recognize this, since they've never even tried passing a bill to allow them to unionize.

    So I have a whack of MOW R's, Oliva V's, LP 9's and Opus X enroute and CP is set to strike at midnight Thursday, OH JOY...cmon guys hammer this one out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    No kidding. I think I have 3 packages and more paperwork for permanent residence and a work permit coming in. Really hoping I get everything.

    I did not get the LP No. 9's I was expecting to be delivered today and looks like strike at midnight so I guess I'll be getting a box of kindling instead...

    Tell me about it. I have three packages somewhere between here and C.Com, and a trade package still out there as well.
    I hope this doesn't last very long or I may have to find a new hobby. No way to get sticks here now, while this is going on. I wish I lived closer to the border.

    So from what I am understanding the union is starting rotating strikes...starting in Winnipeg until midnight tonight, the rest of the country continues to receive service I believe until there is a full blown country wide strike....COME ON PACKAGES!

    Well posties are now locked out....I have 2 packages gone out hopefully they made it far enough to be States side by now and OH I have a box of Tat Conjonu 2003 that is going to be sitting somewhere for who knows how long, hopefully its humidipacked and in decent temp...
