Man, I hope they get this resolved soon. I'm getting tired of the two hour roundtrip drive to Delaware. Plus, just got this message from the B&M I've been going to up there.
"The state of Delaware is proposing to increase the tax on cigars from 15% to 68%! This is HB 178 and was introduced last Thursday without any fanfare notification to interested parties. This will cripple cigar sales in Delaware, and I'm sure you can calculate how much the price of cigars will increase just looking at the size of this massive increase.
Contact your legislators now and let them know you oppose this bill.
We will continue to forward additional information to you as it becomes available
The Governor of Louisiana just vetoed an extension of a $.04 /pack cigarette tax. They are going to try to overrule the veto. Our Gov. is anti-tax of any kind.
