cigar out of Humidor

I live in the Boston area question? how long will a cigar last if not in a Humidor

    Just sitting out, maybe 1 day. If you put it in a ziplock bag or tupperware, 2-3 days. If you add a damp piece of sponge or paper towel with some distilled water on it to the bag or tupperware, it will be fine as long as the towel/sponge stays wet.

    While waiting to get the money for a small cabinet, I have a box of cao americas and some other cigars in a large plastic tupper-ware with some humi packs and beads. seems to be the best solution till then. smoked a cigar from there a couple of days ago seemed fine. The rh is about 70 or so which isn't terrible. should work till I get the new humi.

    would a freezer bag be better than a reg zip lock? come on where are all the glad experts!!!!

    or tupperware, gladware, pyrex with a lid that seals....
