    My grandfather who just past away a few years ago was a tailgunner in a B-24 in WWII. He was part of the 90th Bomb Group "Jolly Rogers"

    my 2nd cousin's grandfather was also a turret gunner who was stationed @ Pearl Harbor when the attack came, he used to repeat the story all the time, used to get annoying as a kid, but since he's gone it's something I miss.

    My grandfather was in a B-29 (I think) that flew out of Africa to do bombing runs over Germany. Have to hand it to all those men. Took a lot of guts.
