Bought a 5 pack recently. The first thing I noticed was the pre light draw: totally effortless, like a snorkel. The first 1/2 inch or so was equally as bright with some light flavors. But as it progressed, the oils in front of the burn built up and the flavor really came in. The middle part of the cigar was very enjoyable.

Which EP Carillo was it? I recently picked up a Short Run and I'm looking forward to smoking it. Snorkel...never heard that one, but might have to borrow it! Draw like a snorkel...too funny!

Love the 2010 Short Run, maybe one of my favorite blends ever... but the 2011 didn't do anything for me by comparison. Too heavy and dark, where the 2010 was delicate and nuanced.

How does the Elencos compare to the 2010 short run, heard its very similar blend? ( edit) wait a sec may be getting 2010 releases mixed up..(edit) yep was thinking of the E.P. Carrillo Edici
