    governmental stupidity runs deep. This would be laughable if it wasn't true.
    Christmas trees sell really well without government promotion.

    EDIT...I guess the Xmas tree lobby lobbied for this, so that the agriculture dept can promote Christmas trees like they do "Beef it's whats for dinner." The government is guilty I guess by not saying no to the tax...Well they never met a tax they would say no to.

    As with the majority of right wing rherotic-------this is not a true story and is just another lie and/or scare tactic pointed toward those who believe everything they read (ie a whole lot right wing voters).

    Harkens me back to when things used to be simpler in life.....color related scare alerts for the county, the idea the next place that could be attacked could be Smalltown USA, ect...........At least they used to be fun to watch people get scared over, this one was just silly.

    The tax was real enough, but it didn't fly, fortunately
