Hygrometer placement with Boveda Packets

JZerbyJZerby Posts: 122
I really like the Boveda system. It works great. For my new humi, I purchased the 2 packet holder that mounts to the lid of the box. It's a 50 count, so the holder covers the entirety of the upper lid leaving me nowhere to mount the hygrometer. Can I just set the hygrometer in a corner of the box when it is filled with cigars or will the reading be less accurate than when it is on the lid?

With the Boveda system it shouldn't matter where you put the hygrometer.

That totally answers my question! Thanks!

I like keeping my hygrometer sitting on top of my sticks in the middle of the humi vs attached to a lid my reasoning is that since humidity rises you may get a reading that is higher than the humidity down where your sticks are. But I am liable to be wrong in my thinking here a more expierenced BOTL might have a different opinion.
