Warning: Rant ahead.
Just when you think you are gonna get a head of the game, everything just falls apart. Never seems to end.
I thought I had all my tax stuff squared away with the IRS, when they took $1700/month out of my paycheck. But then the state decided that because of the mess up with IRS, they think I owe them money and have attached my paycheck for them. Even though the IRS owes me money from what they took, which I probably won't see for months, now I have to get the state squared away, which means dozens of phone calls, faxing all the IRS stuff and dealing with all that.
So now I think I finally have them on the same page, they can't reverse the garnishment for this month, which takes $900 from my paycheck. Great.
Then this morning, the wife calls and says that there is $400 missing from the checking account that there is a charge pending and neither of us know what it is for, since we haven't made any purchases on the debit card or checks for a month. So now we have to go to the bank and see what that is all about.
Every time I turn around, I seem to be losing money.
Thank goodness for having a good cigar to make me feel better.
I feel better now. Sorry for the rant.

Fortunately, I have the trunkidor to make it all better.
I've never owed the state or IRS in 30 years on any return and then they come up with this.
I have an accountant do the returns so I don't have problems and even he is confused by this mess.

*as he checks over his shoulder to see where the wife is.

Trust me, if O'Bummer had a hand in it, you better break out the crying towel..... :-)
They never bothered me again.
That's the good thing about being self-employed.
I thought I was alone on that one. We should start a club, Todd!
