I don't even know why I try to budget cigars. Between free falls, sprints, the beard and his emails, new b&m's and you clowns, my "budget" is usually blown to kingdom come by the 3rd of the month...
We both have our paychecks direct deposited into our personal accounts and then transfer the vast majority into the joint account. I keep ~$400 a month to myself and I'm sure its similar for her. So I have that much to do with however I please for the month. Works out very well.

me: hey baby, are all the bills paid? my wife: yeah, why? me: I just bought another box of cigars my wife: where you gonna put em? me: I'll find room, they are REALLY good cigars and it was a GREAT deal my wife: that's what you always say me: did you enjoy your weekend at the lakehouse? my wife: yep! me: that's great honey. what's for supper?
And that's how we stay happy. By supporting each other's happiness.

in 2008 and 2009 I was spending between $300 and $800 a month. I have slowed down since then but there is once in a while where I spend a good amount. However, I have been trying really hard to keep my budget low. Not that I am engaged and pretty much paying for the wedding myself I guess my budget should be non-existent. With that being said, I have between 1600-1800 cigars and in reality that should last me years.
Shoot. CatFish got me hooked on the joy of bombing, and now the budget is all out the window. If I don't put the brakes on this bus, it's going off the cliff here soon.
