YOu got that right! I am Grateful after 3 years of dead silence between my son and I he has decided to start talking to me just a few weeks agin and We are rebuilding our one time fantastic relationship! Prayers work!
I speak not but through the phone.
Face to face we can not meet.
Another day we may greet.
I am not well, I am sick.
I assure you father this is not A trick.
I have A bug, the stomach flu.
On this day I must stay far from you.
Although this causes me to blue.
There is one thing I must do.
I think of my father on this day.
I have one thing I wish to say..........
Happy Fathers Day!
Never once has he tasted strong drink.
Never taken drugs of any kind that was not prescribed to him.
Never stolen anything.
Ever.
He worked all his life to provide for five children and our mother.
He has fallen and broken his back, still he worked and provided.
He was burned with second and third degree burns over eighty percent of his body.
Still he worked and provided.
His body gave out many years ago and still he worked and provided.
Now on disability, he still tries to be A good provider for his family.
Constantly he looks for A way to bring in A few dollars to help out with the bills.
With food purchases.
A truly great man, he installed in all his children A good work ethic and honesty.
Traits we still live by today.
I would like to say........
Happy Fathers Day to my hero.

Yes. I get bored when I can not get out of bed so I get creative to pass the time.
