New blend from CAO!

So before leaving on my few week trip out to California about 2 in half weeks ago, I stopped in a local cigar shop, I tend to visit about every week to every other week, and the guy has come to recognize me and we talk, mostly small talk, nothing to in depth.. So I stopped in grab a few last minute sticks to stuff in my travel humidor for the plan trip. Couldn't decide which is something that I usually go through when I stop in my local shop, its just a different experience actually seeing the sticks, and seeing them online, so at least I take a little bit longer.. So I asked the shop owner for something unique he would recommend, so we talked about some different sticks, and then settled it on trying the Brazil CAO, and the Italian CAO, I got 2 of each and I paid and was about to leave.. He called me back over and said 'Wait wait wait, how about you try this one?' So he offered me one of 2 new sticks he received from CAO, he told me one of the 2 would go into full production later this year, but they were doing taste testing currently with the 2 blends.. I choose the lighter of the 2, being that I already have a lot of Maduro's.. It's not claro light, about the same as a Diesel unlimited, as you can see in the pictures, but it is defiantly noticeably lighter than the other stick he offered.. So with that somewhat long background story, I now get to the good part, the pictures! CAO LSS [as the label says] imageimageimage Full album here: http://s1154.photobucket.com/albums/p534/DroidConcepts/New CAO cigar/ Any thoughts guys? I'll keep you posted with the smoke notes, which may be sometime this week, still not sure... I want to hang on to it, but then again I want to give it a try!

Your guy was very misinformed. The Last Stick Standing is a promotion by General Cigar (CAO) where if you buy 6 of their products you get a 3 pack tin of THREE different LSS test blends. You can then enter on the site to win big prizes. Sounds like he pilfered the stash. http://lss.caocigars.com/

lol, your probably right, I remember him getting the 2 sticks he offered out of tin, now that I think about it.. Well still happy to have gotten the 'free' stick and test blend.
