From the look of that pipe, I'd say you should use a smaller flame!😁

    Me too!

Ron Powell made a very literal interpretation of an elephant foot pipe which I really like the looks of. Most elephant foot pipes don't look like this.

50/50 izmir and sutliff butter pecan. Burns better than the BP alone but a lot less BP flavor.
    In a Stanwell Royal Briar.

I think I'll order some Virginia and do 1 pt va, 1 pt Burley and 3 it's sutliff BP. Should burn well and have enough taste.

Kbv Garden of Freyja in a Stanwell Royal Briar 88. Expected this to be too moist when I opened the bag. Perfect consistency. Tastes/smells good. I can see why it sold out so fast. I will buy more if he produces more.

After lunch I was feeling the desire for a pipe, in my mind I picked out my Ser Jacopo Dublin from an anonymouse doner and was thinking about which tobacco to try in it. I went upstairs to get more water and noticed I had a package from SmokingPipes, perfect, it's a trade with @ShawnOL when he offered to dispose of my Wilke Peanut Butter and Peanut Butter and Chocolate tobacco.

Sadly, when I opened the first tin I noticed a bit of mold on the tobacco. I'm arranging an exchange with SP and luckily when I opened the second tin there was no mold. The Gladora Pesse Canoe Oriental Flake from Turkey comes in a hinge tin that doesn't really seal, so transfer to jars or Mylar if you order, and they come a bit wet.

I dried the flakes in the sun for a few minutes and then lit up, the tobacco has a nice, mild dark fruit flavor, it's not goopy or harsh, and the flakes are on the thicker side; I think I'm going to enjoy this. Thanks Shawn!

Nice thing about the Gladora tins is the label is on metallic foil that peeled right off so I could stick it on the Mylar bag I put the unmoldy tobacco in.

Wouldn't it be nice if all tobacco labels were able to peel off and reuse? Then I wouldn't have to look at my crappy writing.
