Thanksgiving Day in the cob. 🫤 Kind of soapy start... May have made a mistake with this one. Will let you know in three or four more bowls.Post from pipe smokers den:
I say it every year. But I repeat it because I know not everyone reads old threads...DO NOT be permanently turned off to this blend if you don't like fresh.
I tried it fresh the first time I ever smoked LJP's Thanksgiving Blend. I almost got rid of it. I thought it was mediocre. But, it gets much better after a year or two of jar time.
Over the years I have tried it fresh a couple of more times and my opinion has not changed. I don't like it much fresh, but really enjoy it with a little age.
5 years is the oldest I've ever had. So I can't speak to really aged versions. But with 1-5 yrs of age on it, it's delicious.

Ok, I'm game. I have to agree with the author, ROTT it isn't great. I'll get it into some jars and we'll see what happens.
