I spent some time with a predator outfit in Kuwait last deployment and even those aren't that electronically "airtight". EMP can really screw with the first and second gen ones and they are still trying to secure the control uplink. They use encrypted transmissions where both ends of the signal need to have the same crypto codes but again, any RF signal can be jammed / manipulated, just a matter of findind the right frequency and wattage... Scary that these things are flying over the US, I'm not ok with that at all.
