Power loss

Wondering who all is without power and what your doing about your sticks after that freak storm ripped down from lake Michigan thru I'll, Ind, Ohio, WV , VA. My wife is just beside herself. She hasn't been able to get our generator started so the house got up to 90 today glad I told her to take the humidifiers out of my humis. Nobody thought to check the spark plug so hopefully tomorrow our neighbor can change it and that does the trick and she can get the AC running again.

    I feel your pain, Rick.
    I'm just outside of columbus oh & ours was out for about 30 hrs (it thankfully came back on late last night)

    I'd say move the humis to the basement if you can.
    Mine are in the basement and never went above 72 F while the power was out, even though it's 90+ outside and the first floor of the house was pushing 80F.

    Hope you get your power back soon, brother!

    * I have a new address as of 3/24/18 *

    If I was home I'd do that. But my wife won't I'm doing good just to get her to take the humidifiers out and open them once in a while. Figure at least maybe I can keep the humidity down till she gets power again.
