let me start by saying, this is a great forum. for the last few weeks i have found tons of answers to my newbie questions, but for this question i thought i would join and ask personally
had my first cigar a couple of nights ago an acid 1400cc, not to bad although i have nothing to compare it to yet!
i am celebrating my 16 year anniversary in a couple of weeks, dinner with friends and drinks afterwards, my question is what would be a good cigar for me and a couple long time buddies to end the night?

Either of these would be great... Any my father brand, either a padron 1926, or 1964, or fuente anejos, or liga privada # 9, T52, or ferrel pig. Those are my favorite sticks. If you get any of these, the would be a hit! i bet most of us on the forum would suggest some if not all of these.

For a noob? Padron... The other mentioned are amazing in their own right, but the padron Anny is amazing to both the noob and experience smoker IMO.

If you had the 1400cc and liked it, maybe you want another infused. The Kuba Kuba is similar and very very popular. Also, the cold infusion tea and the toast, or if you can find it the Opulence 3.

If you want non infused, i would agree with what the other guys said, but i am very partial to La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor...it was my first non infused and what got me into smoking the non infused. I think a 5 Vegas Gold or Gold maduro would be good for you and the guys too.

Everything these guys have already said, except I would not recommend the 5 Vegas Gold Maduro... I've had these FOTT and with up to 2 years of rest and they have never been good...

But, as with anything. It is all personal taste. You could possibly get 30 different responses from 30 different people. The key is to try as many as you can, note what you like, and take recommendations based on what you like or don't like.
Congrats on the anny, If I were you, I would go down to your local B&M and ask questions. You may find a cigar that you absolutely love

I think I would go with the padron1964 maduro exclusivo. Good size great taste and not bank breaking plus not to strong for a noob
    Money can't buy taste
