Gaetano7890Gaetano7890 Posts: 800 ✭✭✭
Thats right I'm going on a cruise leaving out of Baltimore harbor for a week. I'm very excited but between leaving my dogs and not being able to view the forum Im still a little sad. Keep up the good work guys and gals and I will be excited to get my cigar.com forum fix in September.

SAVE MONEY ON ALCOHOL! There's a Youtube video showing you to buy a pack of bottled water, cut the top 3 inches off of half of them (while still closed and sealed) and then dipping the top 3" in boiling water to get the clear thinner plastic to slightly warp thus taking the thicker cap intact off. Now open the other non-cut bottles, dump the water out, fill in with your favorite clear liquid, take the little band off and then screw on the cap/band combos you've just taken and show your cruise ship that they are unopened water bottles!

Or do the same for apple juice if you like brown liquids.

I actually did this on a cruise and it worked like a charm. My room was the local hangout after things died on top deck because I had a full bar!

Photobucket I know it looks like I robbed a mini fridge but I figure I will stah these throughout my luggage. My inlaws do it all the time. A couple will pass as little bottles of scope right lol.

LMAO they also allow you to bring a bottle of wine or champagne so we each got a bottle. We're trying to conserve the best we can with my wife being laid of recently. The trip is paid for so were gonna have a good time.

Carnival or Royal Carribean ? My boss has been on both from here and said he had a good time. The wife and I were just talking about maybe doing one as a quick last minute trip in October. Enjoy !!!!

The cruise was very nice thanks for asking. The hotel we stayed in in Baltimore was amazing best I have ever stayed in for the money. The inner habor was a lot of fun picked up a My father Le Bue at a smoke shop. The Carnival Pride was a great ship for cigar smokers. They had a lounge that was very nice that you could smoke in day or night they only closed the bar and the band only played some of the time which was too bad they were an all Asian rock band and they were really good. They only closed it for a art show but they had a humidor with the usual Gerneral cigar stuff and some Gurhka's. The spot had a nice bar. So this ship was smoker friendly, also the Casino and one side of the open deck were smoking. I had a balcony which I could smoke on but I chose the lounge most of the time. In the duty free shop on the ship they had some Fuente Hemmingway's and a Fuenete tubo which I never have seen before. In Grand Turk at the duty free they had a nice selection of Zino, AVO, and JDN. In Freeport they had the worst fake cubans I have ever seen but I went in the store just for Goombay punch soda. I bought a box of Puro Authentico's before the trip and enjoyed those daily. I would def reccommend sailing on the pride for the money you wont find a cheaper vacation with more things to do with no flying involved for you norhtern east coasters. The ship was very nice and my wife and I were seated with a nice couple for dinners from NC who were our age that we have kept in touch with since the trip.
