H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon

My go-to H. Upmann has been the sun grown, but I saw the Vintage Cameroon on the shelf at my B&M and picked one up. I don't normally smoke cigars with cameroon wrappers but I'm glad I did. This was a very enjoyable smoke, more on the medium side. Great spicy-ness and a little bit of sweetness came through with each puff. I usually drink hot tea with a little sugar (not flavored tea) with lighter cigars and this was a good pairing. I had a toro size and it took me about 90 minutes to smoke. I really enjoyed this one. Paid just over $6 for the stick. Would keep a few around for the times when I want a cameroon wrapper.

The vintage cameroon is my favorite of the line. Nice spice flavor.
  • What do you think of the sun grown? What's your opinion of how they compare to, say, a Rocky Patel sun grown?

It's a cameroon, what else needs to be said. LOL!

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.

After college when I was a occasional cigar smoker this was my go to smoke very nice indeed. I F I was ever in the mood for a milder smoke I would probably choose this one. for the price can't beat.
