Prepping the humidifiers

Howdy folks,

Another new guy here :)

I got this ammo box style humidor, but no instructions as to how to treat the dual humidifiers.

I can only assume I'd just drip a bit of the distilled water into the slits, since that seems to be the only opening... but I don't want to take any chances of **** things up, and I'm not sure how much water to use.  I've been studying up here on the hygrometer calibration and the humidor seasoning and all that good stuff... but I didn't see anything about this particular style of humidifiers.

Its probably an awfully silly question, but humor me.

    The gold/silver pucks in the lid are your humidification devices. Yeah, you can pour a little distilled water in there to start off with, but you also want to season your humidor. Look further down on the 101 list to see directions on seasoning.
