Just needing to Gripe

So, I have had a planned company trip for a while. The person in charge of the booking never booked it with the airline. This resulted in last minute airline changes and a different airport. To make matters worse, I just on whim, looked at the old itinerary (which was cancelled but not re-booked) pulled it up on the airline and found seats available for the flights that I should be taking. I wanted to call my travel planner and tell her (i.e., incompetence annoys me) but my wife tells me just to suck it up.

New airport is 45 min. more to drive, lost the whole day verse just 1/2 if it. I am not happy!

I'd have called and raised cain. My wife is always telling me to suck it up. But I'm not that kind of person if I'm unhappy with service I'm telling someone about it. It's not like they can spit on your food.
