Humi-care humidifiers "bursting at the seams"!??

I recently purchased 2 humicare humidifiers and charged them according to the instructions and lo and behold the crystals, well, they are more like oversized clear salmon eggs, when fully hydrated expanded soooo much they burst the humidifiers open.  Sad [:(]It is almost as if there were too many in there??? The only way I could get the darn things to snap shut and stay shut was to remove the bulk of the "crystals" from the humidifier. Any thoughts?Confused [*-)]

    Happened with me also. Hole cut the lid so it held the vented cap on and could still breath.

    They have a tendency to put to many in them for some reason. I had this happen to me with one.I just took the ones that spilled out and put them in a humidifier I had taken the foam out of. Then I had 2.
