Two brands for the rest of your life

ZAPZAP Posts: 186 ✭✭
Not two blenders or growers but two brands....what would you go with.

My two are:  Camacho and Padron

Just had the Camacho Connecticut today and wasn't expecting much but it was a hell of a smoke and certainly not light bodied or light flavored.   I've loved every just about Camacho stick I've had and price wise they are reasonable.  Triple Maduro is one of my all-time favorite but also love Corojo, Corojo LTD and others.  Strangely enough the pre-Embargo was one of the few from Camacho I've had that didn't impress me.

Padron is obviously great on the high end sticks.   1926 Anniversary is one of my other all-time favorite but their regular sticks, 2000, 3000 etc are great every day smokes with reasonable price tags.

Takes care of Nicaragua and Honduras....guess I left out a DR stick..Not a huge Fuente fan (Not hating..they are fine...just not in my top tier) so would go Davidoff I think if pushed to pick a third from a different country.

Illusione and LFD. Both make top notch smokes with a varied range of flavor.

Only two... If I had to pick two they would be: Arturo Fuente and My Father.... wait, Tatuaje and Padron.... Nope, sorry. Can't pick just two! I could never do without these four! It would be easier to pick one. Fuente is my stand-by. Always there and always consistant. From the Chateau Fuente to the Opus X.... always something that fits the bill.

LFD and Fuente...shocking choices I know, but if limited to 2, I would need quality and variety.
Sorry I'm late, but a manure spreader jack-knifed on the Santa Anna.

Although brands like Gurkha and Perdomo always have a huge list to choose from, for NC's I would have to go with Comacho and Davidoff. For CC's I would have to lean towards Cohiba and Monte Cristo.

I haven't had a ton of different brands at this point, but i would probably have to go Alec Bradley and if you consider the My Father Series part of Don Pepin Garcia then i would go Don Pepin.

When you asked this question I immediately thought no problem....then I thought wait I would want an good expansive selection because of the variety so I changed my answer....LFD, nothing from them I havent liked and a huge selection, and Tatuaje.

LFD and all of it's lines and Fuente. I would also consider Tat and all of it's wonderful tasty goodness along with My Father. Oddly enough, I could smoke MOW line sticks every day and be totally satisfied.

Hmmmmm, if Camacho includes room 101, then definitely those! Love the 101's as well as trip maduros and Legendario lines. The second is tough...... Tatuaje, LFD, and Viaje are close! Tats might win since I love love love the brown label cazadores. I wish I could smoke those everyday!

Rip had a couple of Zinos in the past couple fo weeks the Zino Platinum Scepter Shorty and Pudge, both beautiful sticks and they were going to be my second choice in this poll but the Tats won out as I have had more. I know you are a Zino afficianado of sorts what do you recommend next? Thanks in advance. Didn't mean to hijack.

Habanos is almost cheating. That's like saying General Cigar or Altadis. Love you Rip Wink [;)]
