New Rocky

Was in a BM in Mt Kisco, NY and picked up a couple of RP torpedos I had never heard of before - Havana Corojo. Medium, lots of smoke. Thought they were pretty good. A couple of steps up from the R4, but not as good as some of my RP favs; Sungrown, Summer,90, 92, OWR or Decade

    any idea on the country of origin for the wrapper/binder/filler?

    Not sure, I'm not the best at identifying that stuff and didn't ask. Medium dark wrapper - if I had to guess I would say Honduran on wrapper and no clue on the filler or binder.

    Are you 100% sure it was a Rocky? Jesus Fuego put out the Havanna collection and it says Corojo on the band. Kind of a yellowish band that is pretty busy looking with all kinds of stuff on it.

    i did a bit of looking around over night and this is what i found:

    The wrapper is an extra-dark, Nicaraguan-grown Corojo leaf, with Nicaraguan-grown binder and filler leaves inside.

    big deal. another Nicaraguan puro from RP. like ive never seen that before....

    Definitely Rocky - band was dark green
