Well, since jeff didn't post a review of yours kuz, I'll do one: Connect the God Damn Dots by Ministry 6/10. They aren't really my cup of tea, I'm not a huge fan of noise music.
i agree that its fantastic. ill give that 9/10 but only because they shorten it a bit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm4X9yElG9Y .... jesus built my hot rod. (with lyrics) sorry about the ministry again.... bum im not sure i would call them noise metal, but they are crazy as hell though. I would put them a bit closer to industrial.
Well, since jeff didn't post a review of yours kuz,
Sorry, just catching up on how the rules of the game go. looks fun though
Ministry - Connect the God Damn Dots 5/10 - not a huge fan , I enjoyed the bad blood song they put out a while ago however
One - apocalyptica - E for effort, not a big fan of the boy band of metal, but the somber chamber music cover has its place, Id like to see some more metal bands branch out and do some covers of there tunes using orchestral tools.
Toadies - 7/10 with a ++ for nostalgic value Ahh there was a period cira 1994-1996 that a lot of good "indi Rock type" bands started getting some good radio air play(pj harvey, tool, filter etc), brings me back to to the days when the music video channels played....well music videos , this is gooder too
In for the kill - la roux - 9/10 Great song. Love it, sounds like classic 80's.
Rocket - polysics - 7/10 Good song don't like the chorus.
Darkest Hour - 5/10 Not crazy about it alot of this style metal all sounds the same to me.
Just to remind you guys, it's one song that's getting reviewed per post. Anywho:
VNV Nation - Sentinel 7/10 Pretty good, but it's a bit too eighties sounding for my taste. Combichrist - Sent to Destroy 8/10 Liked the mix of metal vocals and techno. Covenant - Dead Stars 4/10 I just couldn't get into it, doesn't mean its bad, just not my style.

ELUVEITIE - Inis Mona -8.5/10 - Well the video is a steamy pile of cheddar(i mean think about filming it....and action)but the song kicked my as$, like in flames with some great additional instruments thrown in,ill be getting the whole album!

Good jam, like the singers voice, if it was a dab more edgier... but I prefer The Only One from that album.
Lets try this: Plan B - Who Needs Actions LINK
