My wife has this condition and it's kinda rare. Curious to see if any of you know anyone that has it or may have it yourselves? We just go back from a medical conference/dinner about it (which we both are quite familiar with it in general) just got me thinking and wondering.

What is this? It sounds like water on the heart. How the heck you get that?

“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

Basically the body is missing a protein that causes the wall so the blood vessels to leak water. Causing swelling in different parts of the body. Simple explanations.
