So I'm going to pick up a wine cooler tomorrow for a wineador and the guy in the link says Luan is a suitable replacement for Spanish Cedar. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm not sure about the humidity holding of luan, but I can tell you that luan will warp and twist like crazy, and I would not use it personally, even in plywood form for cabinets.

Alright then, I'll just accumulate some spanish cedar cigar boxes.

    Thanks for the help!
