None really except I have a few Avalon cigars. They don't make 'em anymore. The one that I tried first wasn't very good. Maybe that's why they don't make 'em any more. (You said rare, not valuable. LOL) I need to try another one and see if they still suck.

Not sure how rare they would be considered "rare".
But the likelihood I'd get them again once smoked is pretty slim.
So they are being saved for those rare occasions.
Without digging, these are the ones I can think of.

    2004 Torano Tribute
    2008 Torano Tribute
    Partagas 160
    Davidoff Royal Robusto
    Partagas Dacadas
    In Fumo Pax
Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cigars and that's close enough.

Not overly "rare" but I have 2 original blend Nording's from 5 years ago. RP stopped selling them for a bit then tooled with the blen and rebanded them...haven been the same since.

That was a GREAT world series.

to answer the question, I have no clue. Probably one of the things i was killed with in my secret santa, but i honestly don't know how rare any of that is.

I'm with you there Jet,, LOVED this cigar, smoked them all the time, got people to become cigar smokers because of these. now, not as good. It's a shame.

Don't mean to steal this thread but I had one of these a couple years ago and I really enjoyed it. I'm not positive if it was an old blend or not but just today I was thinking about trying to find one again... Is there any difference in the band or just the blend?

old blend is a single manila band with the word "Nording" written in a semi circle over a single star. The new ones have Nording by Rocky Patel on them. This was my favorite cigar up until i couldnt find them anymore.

Thanks for that info, I definitely had the new blend then. I enjoyed it. Maybe I'll try it again and always keep my eyes peeled for the old ones too.

Alec Bradley Pryme and the original El Tiante with the band showing Luis in his windup...very cool

Hmm, probably the Davidoff year of the snake or maybe the Avo La Tropetta. I kinda think LE's should be disqualified though, they're intended to be rare. I haven't been at this long enough to have any rares that were once regular production.
