Long Island Charity Herf

Is anyone from here attending the Long Island charity herf this Saturday at Maxi's?

    This year, the herf will once again benefit the Variety Children’s Learning Center: www.vclc.org which is a school for children with Autism and learning delays. This cause is very important as the current statistic is Autism affects 1 in 100 children.


    $20.00 entrance fee includes hot tray foods, 2 - 6 foot heros, salads and soda/water. Everyone attending will receive a goodie bag. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each, 5 tickets for $20.00 and 13 tickets for $50.00 with all proceeds going to the school.

    Lol, I'm on the other end of the country, but with those sponsors the goody bag will probly be rockin'. I wish we could just pay the 20 bucks for the goody bag and get it in the mail and not be there...

    Okay, went to the event today. Let me start with what you got for 20 dollar entrance fee: -All you can eat, delicious food (including 6, 6 foot subs.)
    -All you can drink, including liquor, beer, soda
    -A handrolled cigar by Martinez
    -A cigar from Sir Vin
    The Following Goody Bag:
    -Cubano Viso Fuerte by Fonseca
    -Tabacalera Tropica
    -Cubano Limitado
    -La Aurora Barrel Aged

Beautiful, featuring an Ecuadorian-Grown Aripicara wrapper. Fantastic smoke if you can get it. More updates later.

    Dude, I'm Shittin' ya. That sounds like the most generous event I've ever heard of.. I've been to some that give you one stick or just like 10 % off a box purchase. Nice score. You got your 20 bucks worth big time.

    HO LEE CRAP dude!!!! The event I went to today was $20 entry and I got 6 sticks... I was totally happy with that until you had to post this...jeez...
