I just checked out the first of this series. Why is it that filmmakers today have to make their damned films so dark in order to convey the notion of drama. Us oldfarts can’t make out WTF is going on on the screen.

They didn’t have to do that in the ‘old days’……. 😈

Ragnorak on Netflix is entertaining. We watched the movie "Kate" which wasn't too bad either.

Hulu has released Summer of Soul, part documentary part concert footage of the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival concerts that hasn't been seen in 50 years. Great music.

I was just on a plane and started watching this, got about half way through before we landed. You reminded me to finish it! Really loved the history of all of it and great music like you said. A lot of the best to ever do it

Watched the final season of Shameless. I liked it. My sister asked me "Why would you watch that? You've already lived through most of it."

    We watched Dune
Pissed off about the ending. WTF?

Watching the Lethal Weapon series on Hulu. Funny.

Agree, it's entertaining. I finished the book series after starting 20+ years ago, so it's interesting to see someone else's vision of the books. Naturally, I think my imagination is way better, but it's still fun.

Tales from the Loop on Amazon was really good for those who like more thoughtful science fiction.

I got Apple+ free for a year for buying a new iPad. Forgot to cancel and have been charged for it so I suppose it's time to start watching Ted Lasso.
