Keep me and my family in your prayers. My Dad Wilburn, his cancer has returned and it's all over.
Sorry to hear this Brother. You know I’ve lost a lot of my family to this. One cousin last year and her brother was just diagnosed last month. Pray with you.
My turn to ask. One of my Petty Officers, Orlando, is being transferred/has been transferred to a hospital in Oakland for immediate surgery. Perforated Gastric Ulcer with possible overdose. Not likely narcotics as we are supplied with NSAIDs, highly likely to exacerbate said ulcer, in gargantuan amounts. He had also been prescribed high doses of anti-anxiety meds. Poor guy has been living with this unholy amount of pain, probably, since he transferred here in October. He kept it to himself, never a good idea. I may tell the whole story on the herf in a few days. I'm going to need the catharsis.

Thank you, guys, and thank you, Peter.
I went to visit this morning. Got to meet his sister in person after spending so much time going back and forth to get him taken care of. She's really cool. The surgery went well and before I left the doctor was talking about removing the intubation as he is breathing on his own. There was a bit of spillage in his gut so they put him on a great deal of antibiotics. Not completely clear but on the way, definitely.
Latest news is not so good. Whole family is in town, Doctor has told them that he is going into kidney and liver failure. He's on dialysis ATM, still sedated and intubated. Waiting for his functions to come back on. One step forward, two back. Please keep those prayers and we'll wishes coming.
Got to meet the rest of Orlando's family today. So boisterous, and fun. They were all beaming as he's awake, off the breathing machine and attempting to talk to people, he's so drugged up it's mostly gibberish, though. Still on dialysis but it has been dialed back to twice a day, his built in filtration system is coming back online. A good Thanksgiving with much to be thankful for.
