A few samples.... Had a blast again this year, a lot less partying, a ton more work, and a lot more tired. Not a lot of things stood out to me. Many companies seemed to be concentrating on production. Some of the newer guys did not come back, some did, and it was nice to see the growth of some of the smaller brands. We should be doing a writeup of highlights here in the coming days, as well as tons of video's. The one thing I noticed in my interviews, is the look on the face of the new guys trying to break in, was no different then the look on the face of the 20/30/40 year vets. The passion is the same, it's a beautiful thing really. Walked home with 200+ samples, 10 tins of pipe tobacco, 14 mini cobs for tasting, and one of the new DE Tsuge pipes. image
    My God man....
that one right there is an excellent stick. enjoy that one D

While what I got today does not compete with the above spread, I feel I picked out a nice selection of sticks I have been wanting to try.

Is the cigar on on the very bottom row next to the signed box the Regius American selection?
  • catfishbluezzcatfishbluezz Posts: 7,000 ✭✭✭
No that is the new Regius Orchant Campana. The USA Exclusivo uses a dual red band. I did a couple reviews of them a while back. I'll post it later.

Got a couple things in today. First I got the Xikar Pipeline Lighter in I ordered last week. Been wanting an Old Boy style lighter for a while and liked the two tone look on the Xikars.

Then I got an awesome bookmark from Twistedstem. He asked for my address last week to send me something for my Birthday yesterday and it arrived today. Thanks buddy and really appreciate it. Was nice getting something to open that I didn't already know what it was lol.
