1 year of Ccom anniversary contest/bomb

blutattooblutattoo Posts: 1,294 ✭✭✭
After realizing that one year ago today I joined the forum I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a giveaway to the brotherhood that gives so freely.

I came up with a contest based on my screen name. I do indeed have a large mostly blue tattoo covering half of my arm. The tattoo is of a Hindu Deity. The winner will guess the correct deity. It is a he and his name starts with a letter between A-H. Unless this proves to difficult we will go with one guess per person. If we don't have a winner by Saturday I'll give a clue and open it up for more guesses.

The winner will receive a ten stick sampler for themselves and a ten stick sampler sent to any other Ccom forum member. Ok, good luck and thanks for a great year!

Ganesha is another spelling that is more common, but we all knew what you meant. :)

That has got to be the quickest ccom contest ever! I should have just said who wants ten sticks and you would have been the first to respond. Crazy good guess since there are hundreds of deities. Well PM me the address and who do you want to victimize? Oh and it is Ganesha, but Ganesh is a common spelling so good enough for me. image

Dude, chest pieces hurt like a you know what. Around the nipples are the worst. Thanks for all the compliments, the chick who did it is good at what she does. She did my pops portrait on my other arm as well.

My shoulders are both nautical too... I already looked like an old time sailor because that's what I am lol I've spent over a year total at sea on tall ships.

And yea no kidding about the chest pain Jason. I could only last 4.5 hours on tues so I have to go back in may for the shading instead of doing it all in one sitting. Congrats on the year here btw!

Congrats on making it a year! Cool ink.
Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

I like Oliva and Quesada (including Regius) a lot.  I will smoke anything, though.

It's a good example of how things work around here. About a year ago, someone stole Brian's herfador. Having only used mine once in two months of ownership, I sent it to him. Last week I'm just thinking about maybe getting another one...and bam. Richard and ol' Tattoo tag team me.imageimageimageThanks a lot guys, an amazing bomb. Stoked for the Nomad!

Perfect timing! Enjoy, he picked the perfect target. I never used it so you'll have to fill the humidifier.
  • RainRain Posts: 8,958 ✭✭✭
Perfect target, huh? Makes me sound defenseless....and we can't have that...

Awesome contest and two great recipients. So, what brought you to getting a deity? It's really well done I like to hear the stories behind them...

Ganesha is the god of overcoming obstacles and after I was cancer free for a year I decided to get something that reminds me that I can beat anything. I loved the symbolism and the story. I know someone with a back piece of a more traditional design and I thought it was f'ing cool so I said let's do it.
