Hydrometer Setting

Please, someone remind me what the meter should read when put is baggie with damp salt.
Memory not what it was & can't find instructions.

    75 is the goal...... Not sure how accurate this technique is.... I rather use Boveda Calibration Kit.

    Yup, if you do the salt right, it will put off 75% rH. Accuracy has been questioned, yes. If you have boveda packs, you can calibrate with them also.

    75% is the standard for hygrometers...not hydrometers as a lot of people get this mixed up as well.

    i was gunna say... im not sure why you needed the specific gravity of the salt solution, but whatever works for you.
