Well, today it's official and I'm celebrating. It's been eighteen months since my cancer surgery and today my oncologist told me the results of a PET scan that was done last week. He says there's no sign of any cancer now.
I have an Opus X that was gifted to me some time ago and I've been saving it for a special occasion. This one seems pretty special to me.
I brewed up a French press of double strength espresso, got a plate of cookies to munch, and fired up the Opus. Ain't life grand??

My favorite cigar list here
My wife goes in tomorrow for a checkup, and if the results are as good as yours I am finally going to smoke the "Lost City" that The3Stogies sent me.
You have a drink on me and I'll have one with you.
2015 Gang War - East Coast
Enola Gay - Target #29
Life is too short to smoke bad cigars!!!
Oh when the Blues, Oh when the Blues, Oh when the Blues go marching in!
Prayers and good thoughts going out to you and your wife for a good checkup. And I'll definitely have a drink in her honor tonight. Glenmorangie sounds appropriate, I think....
Also ... Jd ... Happy thoughts and prayers for you and your wife
"I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke ever last one of 'em." - Ron White
one of the best cigars on the market will take back seat to the good news.
